The patent-pending FLARE Windshield was developed at Klock Werks out of a desire/need for stability at highway speeds and for racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The "hips" at the outer edge of the shield re-route the wind to add down force to the front of the bike, which aids stability vs. using a stock shield. The "flip" at the top of the FLARE is designed to kick the air up and then allow it to flow back as "clean" air for the rider.

The FLARE was designed to compete with the short stock shields. If you're riding one of those, you'll love to rock the FLARE! If you have a regular large windshield and are looking to add a sexy windshield as an option the FLARE adds downforce and great looks! Hogtunes new 902.2/Amp kit works on all 98-current touring models with radios, and makes a nice improvement to your stock system. The kit is made up of our new 902.2-AA speakers, and USA 24.2 amplifier, and includes a 100% plug & play wire harness along with everything else needed to complete the installation. The speakers “clip” into the factory grills, and the amp goes on top of the radio inside the fairing. While the stock radio is rated for 20 watts per channel, in this configuration, the Hogtunes amplifier makes 32 watts per channel (minimum) and really enhances bass and clarity while the “signature sound” of the speakers cut through exhaust and wind noise very nicely.

 

On Ultra Classics, the amplifier runs the front speakers, the radio powers the rears, and the fader control continues to work. For all other models, there is an expansion port built into the 902.2/Amp wire harness. If you have a “non-Ultra” model and want to add rear speakers later, Hogtunes new 902.2/Pod (Rear speaker boxes/902.2-AA Speakers) kit will plug into the expansion port. Please note that 902.2/Pod is for 06+ models only with King Tour Boxes. The 902.2/Amp is completely compatible with the HF-1 “Hogpod” Tweeter Bar on FLHT/FLHX models.
